Thanks. 5 foot long bonnet inspection lamp ;)

Doesn't mate. They are both good for different reasons.

awesome!
I was gonna try something slightly different, by running a genny and a 150w halogen lamp to light up the car in a different way, but might revisit that, when ts not so damn wet

Looking good. Hopefully I will have more to put up soon.

good lad!
I got over 100 from this little shoot for my sister, but there are only a hand full that turned out all right. May even bugger off out with the camera again tomorrow, see how the weather is, plus I got a Hoya circular polariser to try out, got this second hand for £10

Is that a broad wing? My Lass keeps asking what does she need to focus on one thing and blurr the rest??

No, its a common buzzard (Buteo buteo)

same as what others have said, the small ther F number e.g the common one being f/5.6 the blurrier the background will be. Though in these shots the camera was on auto so i think it would have been about F/5)

Cheapest lens to achieve epic bokeh is the 50mm f1.8. Canon and Nikon do their own flavour for around the same price.

I've got a F/1.8 50mm prime for my 35mm Olympus OM10.

But agreed on the lens though!
