Epic photos guys.
Well I took the plunge today, gathered some funds, borrowed and scrounged. Then treated myself to a brand new camera!!!!
Of so its abit of an older model now, but it has the features I want, plus a new lens which is better than a standard 18 - 55mm, yes its an 18 - 105mm VR
I bought myself a Nikon D90!

Razor sharp focus on those bees. Nice work. Love the tones in the dog one too.
Cheers Tmod, took loads of pics to get a few good ones of the bees and it took a little while to get a good pic of the dog as well, indoor, no flash, was something like 1/30 sec ISO 200 F/5.6 iirc, non VR lens too, handheld

Cheers mate, mostly shooting full manual or Aperture priority AE mode these days, though of course with auto focus . I think the new camera is helping too mind, though at some point I will be adding an FX (35mm) format 70 -300mm VR Nikkor Zoom lens to my arsenal at some point in the future, because its better than my current 70 - 300, but also because of the VR aaand, its FX format, so with the APS-C (DX) format sensor, it equates to a 105 - 450mm zoom, great for Buzzard pics

About a month ago? Been so busy mate. I haven't put my camera down to be fair, but it's all wedding and honeymoon shots. If I find a decent portrait I will post it up.
