Actually found some time to shoot a few pics, here they are! The helicopter was passing the house so thought it would be rude no to try and shoot it, thought it came out quite well.

You mustn't forget that it is so easy to mess up with the focusing in a different way too. If the camera locks the focus and either you move slightly towards the subject or the wind is blowing your subject about then you lose your focus

haha, lol, nothing wrong with a female, enjoying often male orientated topics. Some good work there though, infact its actually got me thinking about seeing if I can get hold of an Olympus OM System 50mm F/1.8 Zuiko lens for my 30 year old OM-10 35mm SLR I inherited from my Grandad via my dad. Trouble is, the lenses all have fungus on them. So easier to replace the easiest one the 50mm, but then get repaired the 300mm prime and possibly the 200mm macro lenses.
