ultimate hot hatch??

 how many jap cars have 3 spokes too..... all those fairladys, supras etc

A few unfortunately. Although never as standard. Volk/Rays make some, as far as 3 spokes go, they aren't bad. I still don't like them, but they are a £2,500 set, split rim of course like mine, so quality is excellent.

still shatter though like set of BK racing.... got a guy here who just smacked his RX7 with Volks rims... should see the porosity of the metal!! quite suprising!!!

I never said id buy a set,but on the Saabs they do look nice, andthe Volk 3spokes can look nice on the right car and in the right colour.
I think the worst rim you can put on a car nowadays is the TSW Venom!
So dated now!!

Strange, most have a lifetime warranty, your friend may have only had monoblock rims.

My current Advan rims are made from aircraft grade alloy which is why you can achieve such a shine just through polishing.

What you see here on my 3 peice rims is pure polished alloy, there's no coating on these at all.

I like the new Audi S3, a very good looking car

I've always had a bit of a thing for the Alfa 145 aswell. Though i think it needs bigger wheels (so i gave it some).

mk1 golf
uno turbo (only cos my mate has a tuned 1 and its fookin fast)
mk1 xr2
mk3 gsi
honda crx

I aint keen on the way most of the newer hatches look with the vxr astra bein the exception, but even that took a while to grow on me. I just prefer the lines of older cars.

Simon.those wheels are lovely. Do you drive your car with those wheels on in the winter? If so bet you have to wash them pretty frequently to stop them corroding!

I don't drive the car in the winter at all! LOL infact I don't drive the thing in the wet either. My Z is just for fun/summer use. The insides are mirror polished too. You can just about see from this pic...if cleaned regularly and polished frequently, you'll not have a problem with corrosion. If the alloy is of good grade, then it will not corrode like cheap crap. My rims were refurbed about 9 months ago now and they still look like new. They go slightly cloudy over time, but that's what the polish is for, water just beads and runs off.

It's currently in the bodyshop having a JDM rear spoiler fitted and the bumpers repainted along with the tailgate. Costing me £800 to have that done!

I'm kinda going concourse on it anyway, so like things to be done right.

Quite like the look of MK1 Clio's, I used to have the 1.8 16v one with TSW venoms, but unfortunatley it was the most badly built car I have ever had.
