Moving out

All the very breast! And best

how fecking much is this house costing them???? £300 quid a month is alot of money for a lodger

i pay £390 a month on private rented house.....

iv done alll the living with friends thing and to tell you the truth is was good for first month then novilty wore off and you start to get annoyed and argue over the littlest of things....

lisa for £300 a month you'de be better off getting your own place.....

Moving out is fun!
Except you rapidly realise that there's a huge mass of expenses on top of pure rent - food (£20-30/week), going out (£5-30, average), bills (£60 biannual water, £60/month gas+elec together), general household bits 'n' bobs (towels, furnishings, hairbrush, Mr Muscle, hoover + white goods, so on and so on), and then anything you want to buy for yourself!

But it's way fun though... party at Lisas?

PS: Midlands prices, 3-bed terraced house is £150-£180/week (between 3...)

It will be my brother and his girlfriends house. So no party

good luck lisa your gonna need it moving in with your bro always arguments in that situation

What is it with everyone thinking I'm gonna argue with my brother??? Apart from Kev, none of you know me or my brother and what our relationship is like. We get on fine! He can be a stroppy git, like all men, but he'll probably have more arguments with his girlfriend than he will with me!

If I had to live with my sister and just me now that would be a problem as we don't get on.

fair enough good luck

when my parents sold the house in the UK and moved to France late 2005, I moved into my sister's house with her and her husband - it worked great as she and my brother in law worked night shift while I worked days, so we rarely saw each other to annoy each other!

I moved in with Brian in August in his mum's house (although she doesn't live there - she lives with her partner on his farm), but a few weeks ago we moved into my new flat together (I get a 2 bedroom self contained central heated double glazed fully furnished modern flat with my new job, at just £30 a week rent to cover rent/heating/water. Electricity on a £ in the slot meter, and I pay the phone line.)

In my old job I couldn't afford to pay my sister rent but so long as I did my fair share of keeping the place tidy it was ok until I was in a financial situation to contribute, which unfortunately I wasn't until I got this new job.

Kirsty.

I'll be paying them £300 a month which I can afford as I will stop buying clothes and spending it on crap!

£300pm? is their mortgage gonna be like £900pm??? I thought mine was bad at £700. Also remember.....its never gonna be yours. You wanna beat them down a little. they need you just as much as you need them! if its your bro then he should let u stay there for 250 max! afterall...there are 3 of you living there but only two that own it! You wont benefit from the increase in value but will have paid towards it!

just my two penneth

I'm not moving out now. I can't really afford to. Me and Kev wanna move in together one day and I need to save up for that. I need to sort out my financial situation, which I am at the moment and I'm getting there, slowly, but surely :)

I've had to move back in with my folks, but will be moving back out again in January. It's quite nice here to be honest, if you've never lived away before, it's really good for about 1 week, and then starts getting a bit grim when you've got no money for food, and it's cold because you can't afford the heating. It's even worse when you live with two of the scruffiest, untidiest tw*ts on the planet.
