I know alot of you have partners and kids, but I'm just wondering if any of you lived with friends/brothers/sisters etc before you actually met your partner? Or does anyone live with friends etc

My brother and his girlfriend have decided that they want a house instead of a massonette (sp?) and they are looking to move next year, probably in the middle of February (based on everything going to plan) and they've asked me to move in with them as the house will have two bedrooms and I've said yes! :) My money situation isn't great at the moment (understatement ), but I can sort myself out before February and can start saving money for when I move in with them. I'll be paying them £300 a month which I can afford as I will stop buying clothes and spending it on crap!

It's exciting, but then again it's scary, if you get what I mean? I'm just wondering how people have coped and did they manage money wise!

yeaaa do it. don't you actually hate living at home now?! i'm gonna be doing it next year and moving into a new flat with my brother. he's gonna get the mortgage and im gonna pay my share. will be awesome i'm well looking forward to it!

It doesn't bother me living at home as I do what I want when I want, but my parents wanna move down Kent sometime soon and I don't wanna go with them. So moving in with my brother and his girlfriend will be the best thing to do so I don't end up homeless and it will make it easier for my parents to move whenever they want then :)

OI whats wrong with Kent????

I knew you'd say that! There's nothing wrong with Kent, I never said there was

I just don't wanna live there as it means being even further away from Kev and we wanna move in together one day. My dads sister lives there and my parents are there alot, they like it there, plus the houses are alot cheaper there to buy than they are here :)

Wtf.......?

I live in Surrey, not too far from London, which is probably why it's so expensive! I'm no snob. The area I live in at the moment is awful, never used to be though. Just ask Rob or Daz how expensive the housing area is around here.

im JOKING yeesh. i live in kent, which is also not far from london. what part of Kent are the rents intending to move to?

Erm... Maidstone I think. I know you live in Kent.

Kent is around 150 miles from London, I'm only 30 miles from London, big difference

150!? :twitch: im about 60 miles from london! im bout 20 miles from maidstone too

What part of Kent do you live in? I'm thinking of where my auntie lives and how far away from there it is.

Maidstone is just over 30 miles from London. :)

but he didnt say he lives in maidstone hun ;)

I did do from where I work (Chatham Docks) to Lewisham to get some work done on my car at Penfolds and I managed that in half hour.

The city is easy to get to, take the A2 towards London, through Blackwall tunnel and then straight to Bromley-by-Bow then take Commercial Road towards London. Then you are really close to tower bridge where you can pick up Old Kent Road and come back that way through Deptford etc.

I have done from Luton airport to the Dartford crossing in 30mins (in my Calibra 16v!) @ 12:30 in the morning though!!

lol me and rob did heathrow to chester in something like 2-3 hours there with the car cruising but after chin wagging for ages we realised we werent getting in till late so off we went at full throttle in a 215bhp v6 beast and i think it took something stupid like 1-2 hours lol i was mostly at redline in fifth but i wasn't speeding lisa its simple math ,,, buy a faster car :D
