I got myself an in-car DVD player and TFT, I've taken it out of its enclosure (it was one of those portable ones) to permanently fit it. It can run from the cigarette lighter but to wire it in can I splice into the power cables to the stereo and run it from there? If I do that can I then use the DVD player and stereo at the same time without overloading something? Also the TFT's power is spliced into the power lead on the DVD player. Is that ok or should I power it separately?

tbh ide take them from egnition live then fuse them aswell so if anything dus go rong it wont kill everything and atleast it would be easy to source a problem
