whos got a clean car?

I'm sorry but i fell asleep halfway thru reading this. How sad is that bloke??? Its a car ffs and as soon as he drives it all sorts of crap is gonna hit it. Grow up and DONT BUY A CAR i say. Jesus wept!!!!

moron!

now thats just plain silly! i'm all for keeping a car clean etc, but doing all that, for that cost is just completely insane. that level of detailling is pointless on an astra (its for lambo owning footballers). its not so bad in a sunnier climate, but not over here, where the gritters/pigeons/chavs will get it

oh my god!!! what is the fookin point!! was gonna read the lot but i woke up an realised i fell asleep, no joke im bein serious!!

Paul Dalton the guy who detailed it is a perfectionist and is very good... but

he's very very expensive...

I'll do it for cheaper LOL

Paul Dalton is obviously an ex painter or similar. Saw a gap in the valeting market and makes his money from sad ****s with too much of the stuff. "Paul saw an imperfection in the n/s headlight and removed 1 micron" What a load of bollox!!!! The owner of that astra has more money than sense and one day, at that rate, they will be hopefully be equal. What a complete knob. I really hope some plank rams it up the chuff within the first 6 months! Should be locked up the gimp!

i saw the imperfection :nerd:

to be fair the guy could polish a turd...

IMO if you want to spend a small fortune on making your cars paintwork etc perfect then why not???

Theres nothing worse than seeing an awesome looking car with the ****test, most scratched/swirled paintwork...

i wont pay that much for a car let alone a clean i much prefer to do it myself i take some pride in knowing what i can do with my car needs doing tho might get out at the weekend and do it

I think your all missing out a crucial point here;

- Refilled at no extra charge, for life.

If this guy uses alot of it for the next couple of years then it doesn't seem that bad.

Can't belive some of you calling him sad, he obviously has passion for what he does and the people with the big money would happily pay him to clean their cars which cost a sweet penny. It's his money and he can do whatever he want's with it.

hmmm removing 1 micron with a makita rotary..... no porter cable **** here! that's for new generation polishing gimps who think they've re invented the wheel! go old fashioned mopping with compound!

i think its a great way to make a living - working on rare and expensive cars, and getting a nice wedge out of it. my argument is doing that sort of work to a vauxhall seems a tad overkill.

that paul charges £75 per hour + vat = £88. that guy with the vxr had him for 3 days, at a guess of 8 hours per day = £2100

:o :tsk:
