ive come across some threads where people have bout their mk3's and have strange thing found in them that were left by the old owner. just thought this would be an interesting thread .

but... the only thing i ever found were spare change. i.e. 2ps etc

as said in other thread,i found a glass vase under the passenger seat of mine when i was cleaning it. Was pretty big too,about 1ft long! You should have seen the state my car was in when i got it. I had to empty my Dyson upright 3-4 times,as well as fill up a black sack with crap. The drivers window you couldnt see out of because the lady i got it from put her pay+display tickets on it,and never took them off!

But one of my friends found a bag with about 2 grand of cash in the boot, under the boot liner. Can't be bad!

Nothing too exciting but I found about 4 boxes of matches, a load of business cards and a tidy little maglite torch in the back pocket of the seats in my Golf.

It was an old roller actually. He valeted cars for a bit, and got given this banged up old rolls royce as payment. He was in the process of cleaning it inside and out, when he came across the bag.

He spoke to the guy who he got it from, and it turned out he was given it by a shady guy from london. Apparently had ties to the Krays but its at this point I can't verify. I only saw the bag with the cash.

The only reason I think it was dodgy is when the guy who gave it to him refused to take the money!! Scared of any repurcussions!!

It wasn't even covered in ink or anything, must just have been someone's savings or something.

when i brought my astra i had a haynes manual under the seat and 10 £1 coins lol and the jeep i brought 2 weeks ago had 3 pairs of shoes an mobile phone charger wats the same as my phone lol and 4 car jacks lol

Never found much exciting. Did find a thin retractable knife under the carpet overlaps under the passenger seat, which was worrying. Found about £20 all in all in my gsi since I've had, was everywhere! That's about it. Bit crap really!
