was very suprised to see ya out in the gsi the weather was c**p

i still got a few piccies from meggies (cleethorpes) car show last year nice to see its still as nice as ever

gsi's developed a oil leak was taking it to get it sorted. hopefully the f@#kin thing will be oil dry now.. fingers crossed,it was comin out the sump gasket. the later type rubber 1 too 
we checked the depth of the bolt holes to find the shortest 1 to be 13mm thats including the sump and gasket!! and guess what the bolts are exactly 13mm as well so it wasnt nipping the sump up properly!! so cut the bolts down by 2mm nipped up better this time so we shall c

my car belonged to my m8 steve until nov when he bought himself a scooby
i mention that as you may know him as my car has been in motormaxed many times ,the last time was when the present lump was dropped in by martin last year,and the lump was owned and rebuilt by a mechanic called brian
1 thing he did tell me when i gave him silly money for the car was to change the sump gasket as it was made up of two glued together
so your little find there could be the answer to a lot of leaky sumps
let me know how it works out m8 when i change mine over ill do the same if all is well
im still 4 months on workin on all the probs that were half done jobs as my m8 lost interest when he blew the block and couldnt be bothered ,most probs were electrical,9 out of 10 now sorted
i just got a mint interior from ebay which looks well
and with the finer weather coming got 1 arch to replace , bit o paint ,wheel refurbish .
that should get her something like on the way back to life

seem on mine the shortest bolts was near the fly wheel end but some varied so much it was all a lil mad.. so cut the lot down except the 2 that fit in2 the oil pump!! they need to be longer as its goin in2 alloy and will go all way through!!
