Spotted Black MK3 M6 16.20 ish

**** me it flys tho < too 70> lol, 888 wasnt too happy anyway as he wasnt pulling away as much as he hoped lol

:lol: pulling away is pulling away ;) (and there wasnt exactly 'room' for good fun) the gsi went well, whats the spec?
 
I'm "undertaker"'s other half (told you about the exhaust lol) my mk3 at www.ukshires.net/glsri.htm sorry haven't been on mk3oc in absolutely ages. Hence me appreciating your mk3 a lot more than my lad was ;) As for pulling away, well in the driving conditions there were other people to take into account, give us the M6 at 3am sometime and you'll see what a courtenay remapped 888 can really do to a GSi ;) Still good sport though. Quite glad we took the mk4 to billing though as my car wouldn't have stood a chance against yours lol (only got half the valves hehe) besides mine is currently written off (not my fault) and awaiting some jig work, a new boot and my GSi bumper spraying up and putting on, as well as my lowering springs and remus twin exit backbox plus a stainless middle section from Vsport. (and maybe a 4 into 1 manifold too)

Now a lot of the juvenile plebs from a couple of years ago have wandered away from mk3oc I may hang out on here a little more again (I tend to be an AOC person, have been for the past 8 years) I was a member on here but got put off by certain members so gave up.

and if you were taking people into consideration why <edited>

we were simple lovin the fact we had a 888 planting it along side us and the noise is incredible.

i still dont see what your defending??? its looks to me your nose is out of joint because you didnt muller me as much as youd like,.

it was fun but thats all.

We kinda hoped you'd pull into the services after us and say hi but you didn't (hence why we passed you again ;) ) I certainly didn't mean it as a dig, sorry if it came across like that, it was the best part of the day.

the only reason we were trying to keep up was to let on as the 888 deffo one of the best mk4's.

was well worth the 80 miles my trip said id used lol.. we didnt see you pull off as we slowed down otherwise me would of lol

hehe I didnt come on here to boast brag or anything just came on 'cos it was good fun :D although a lil risky hehehehe.

Sorry if things have been taken out of context was just here to continue the banter 'cos its all good fun between fellow astra owners.

T'was all good fun and will no doubt get repeated, whoever ends infront is just a bi-product of a good jolly bit of octane fueled fun n games.
 
Going by PV and most cars beating all the vxr's down the strip then i think very little work would be needed to an xe to hand an 888 its arse.

888 is a great car but just a gimmicky coupe with a decent suspension setup but each to their own.

I know sep and he prob would give you that day on the m6 lol but likes been said, seps is standard your is tuned but still seams like he gave you a run for your money.

I had a play with a cupra r on the way back in the v6, could have changed his number plate at 130 lol

What we all gotta remember is the key element, which is power the weight, the mk4 is a heavier car
