tbh i think this really is a pointless thread if any of the replies are serious oh dear its 50quid done now it may sound alot but im waitrin g on what i knoiw as an amuter cutting with a grinded ben your car is really nice please tell me you havent gone silly at your original wing

i aint even attempted it yet, i've got 2 wings to practise on, but tbh i think i'll be paying to have it done. i ain confident that i could get a pro finish

i think it might warp the wing mate with the heat when ur grinding it id use a drill to drill a hole either end of the slot and use a juniuor aksaw blale to cut uot the grove the straigten up the cut with a griner will take time but will be safer for ur wing

five door valver and mk3softy have the right idea. Were u planning on painting the wing after....cuz you'll have to once the grinder/cutter has discoloured the paint to a nice pukey yellowy greeny colour, blistered it up and generally made a mess of it. hand tools mate. steady with the file.... you dont wanna pull it out to far...and go back in....on the OUTSIDE of the wing. ouch! who hasnt dont that when filing a hole?.... liar!
