what's all this talk about phase 2 gsi grills? all phase 2's have got phase 1 headlights fitted, if the phase 2 grill is that rare, ive got one sat in my shed.... seeing as they're so rare i'll start the bidding at £1000......... i think not! seriously tho kev, looks pretty straight forward to me, front panel, cross-member etc straighten out the inner wings if damaged, and for the next 2 weeks i've got a phase 2 gsi (oh no! how rare! ) i'm breaking and it'll be getting weighed in ,so bid me what the scrap will and it's yours..... i've got phase 2 headlights, bonnet, indicators, phase 2 (!) grill, gsi front bumper, 1.8 eco rad, you name it, i've got it, let me know..... or let me know how much you want for the car complete and i'll repair it myself....... at least your here to listen to all this though

you twit! look at kev's grille on his thread, its a different shape to the normal "phase 2 gsi, phase 1 headlights + grille combi". hence it being rare - south africa only

If any of the mounting points are moved slightly, I'd scrap the car and put it on another saloon. If it's not straight it will haunt you for the rest of your ownership!

you mean for the engine?

no wings front bumper and grill.if they out of line slightly then your panels wont fit as flush as they used to and it will bug you.
