no spark..........

if the ecu is new.
cranksensor is new
coil is new
ignition amp is new.
leads and plugs are new.

and there is power on coil and on ignition amp as its been tested when ignition on,.....would the CTS cause it not to produce a spark? b4 i buy another item i dont need............

No, it would make the starting harder due to the wrong signal, but i can't see it stopping the spark.

have u checked the connecting plug that goes onto the ignition amp? This is what happened on mine because the connectors had pushed down so not making a connection

yes its fine, everything intact properly, any other ideas as the coil produces power once ignition on........but no creating a spark, when the coil defo works.......

SAME MATE!!!! SAME!!! thanks for screw n coil tho bud, if no one else knows, then auto electrician will be called on end of month, dont wanna do that as it will probably cost £200 notes but no one else has any ideas, ive tested it all, read codes, still nothin!!!

A good auto-electrician should only need an hour to find the fault, and the one i use costs £45 for the first hour

i had the exact same thing and im a auto sparky ..... this anoyed me for about 2 weeks .. i ended up changing the engine loom and hay presto started first time .

so, autosparky came round, says ignition amp not workin, although we managed to get a spark from it, and its attempting to fire up now, but it still wont fire, everytime it attempts to, the cogs go bACK half a turn as it doesnt fire, just nearly does, coughs and splutters...ideas? (where nearly there lee69!!!)
