That's the Corsa over at Custom Craft in Elgin. It's getting a flexi added to the system and the backbox sorted out as it was blowing slightly.
At the weekend just past we fitted an extra cooling fan for when I'm down at Crail. The normal fan works fine but for the sake of an extra £20 and the fitting time it's a good peace of mind IMO. I don't fancy it over heating so far away from home.
This weekend will see the alternator getting changed to a single V and the engine mounts being changed for ones I purchased from Dewis. The mounts have been packed with sealant so that should stiffen things up at the front. This plus the single V should hopefully mean that the alternator pully does not foul the chassis leg.
I will have to take a trip to the breakers again and get some plastic bumper and trim fixings as they went astray following a gust of wind
I will have to look at the speedo cable again. I changed it for a new one I had in the garage but it's still not working. I do have a spare speedo drive and a spare set of clocks too so I should be covered.
It's needing a polish again. I never got round to waxing it the last time
Other than taking it into work a few times to get some road miles on it I'm all set for summer.

Must be the speedo drive that's goosed. Clocks are OK and the speedo cable is new. Tried to get the drive out today and failed. It wouldn't budge. lmao
Went to the scrappy instead and spent a tenner.

I don't want to nit pick but doesn't that tyre have "Marshall" printed on it? Or do you mean it's a cheapo brand nobody's ever heard of?

It was the Vauxhall day at Crail on Sunday. Did 8 runs down the quarter and will be going back on a quieter day to see if I can improve my times by killing some 15" 195 wide tyres I have here.
I'm going to have to take a look at the linkage at some point. It's not as easy to get into 2nd and 4th as it is all other gears sometimes.

Are you happy with the power then mate? when are you getting it RR'd, then atleast you'll have a base figure to go from to see any improvements,

Yeah, kind of. I would have thought it would have done faster times to be honest. I will get it on teh RR at some point but there's not really much more I can do to the engine without spending a lot of money. It's already got a 4 branch Lexmaul manifold, sport cat and full SS exhaust.
It did. I took it off again when in the car park in Edinburgh though.

looks good mate, pretty consistant on the day, xe'd nova/corsa will usually do 15-16 seconds so i'd say well done

Well, the 1100 mile round trip do Billing went without incident. The only slight thing was that the engine got a little warm waiting in the queue for the gate upn arrival at the Aquadrome. Think I may need a new fan switch.

Fitted the GTE alloys this weekend. They need a refurb so I'm going to give them a wee rub down and paint over the winter.
I think I will keep them silver but I'm undecided whether to keep the caps plain or detail the griffin in red.
