What sort of bulbs are they, and can i remove / change them without taking the entire dashboard off? :/

Cheers guys, looking through the haynes manual but seriosuly wtf.

Take your stereo out and you can get to them although a bit fiddly. My advice is to get new ones from Halfords. I've used cheap ones from a car spares shop and they started to melt the dash although i swapped like for like. The bulb ratings are usually printed on the bulb. Make sure you change the re-circ bulb whilst you've got the stereo out!

Go for LED's mate..........If you use the same type of bulb as you have at the moment, you will be for ever changing them, as they come on with the ignition and blow very quickly. If you use led's, they seem to last a darn sight longer.
If you look on Fleabay, you will find loads of sellers. Think yhey are 286 bulbs.
Do a search on here, loads of posts on this subject.

Tom,

I would suggest that you get the correct rating bulbs OR LED's havent tried LEDS though,

To change the bulbs you need to strip the dash,
not majorly difficult just a fookin pain, follow the Hayens and you;ll be fine

I can do it in about an hour, 45 mins if I'm particulalry quick :)
