Heater blower problem

You'll find that it's probably the resistor has corroded and melted, had the same in my old one and it set light to the pollen filter. If you go under the bonnet, pull the rear seal and remove the black plastic under the windscreen you'll find the pollen filter, unclip that and the resistor lives under there. Stupid design, they're always grotty. Be careful when buying a new one, they come in 3 and 4 speed flavour, yours being a ph2 should be a 4

Brilliant thanks mate I’ll have a look tonight fingers crossed it’s just that and I bought a 4 speed one the other day thankfully
