Few Pics of my new Corsa Turbo

looks great, definetly keep the badges and show those black 1.2 sxi corsas what a real corsa is lol, does any1 else think that vauxhall put the leccy window switches in the wrong place in corsas, well akward to use
 
nice one ben. not a huge fan of the corsa's but looks real neat!!! Hope it does you well :beer:

What you do? Buy it like it? Turbo's arnt too cheap lol Think i paid £400 on exchange, not to sure of top of my very screwed up head atm :p
 
i dunno, i mean i'd rather the astra to the corsa, cos it's quicker! round about the same weight, and also bigger for the people on the inside. sticking a turbo in a 1.4 as well won't get you as far as sticking a turbo in one of the GSIs that Astra offer. Plus the shape of the corsa isn't as long and slick as that of the Mark 3, so all in all i'd prefer the astra compared to the corsa! it has more to offer and also can fit a bigger sub! my mate has twin 15 inch FLI subs and they are the best! he's already shattered the boot hinges twice with the sheer power of it!

how would an astra be quicker? corsas weigh around 200kgs less? and what difference does it make changing a 1.4 to changing a gsi engine to put it in? you still have a C20LET at the end of it :s
 
How would the Astra be faster? Power-to-weight ratios are what its all about! :nod:
 
He could be refering to top end where aerodynamics come into it, but realistically the corsa would be quicker off the mark, once it's stopped putting rubber on the black stuff
 
I love it, rio verde with cesaro / corse sport seats :)

Can I ask how much it set you back? Personally – irmi smoked rear lights, buckets, stripped out with a cage!

you what mate.im telling you if you put the same set up in both cars then the corsa would be very slightly quicker.and i do like astras thats why i had the damn thing for so long,just got on my tits not working when i need it to. so i though fook it just buy something that is silly fast and enjoy while i can.and imho the corsa handles better because ive got coilovers on it and there set up spot on for the car.

even i know that a corsa would be faster than a astra with the same engine in and im a blond bird :lol:

and kev ya big gay why would i spend that much getting a turbo then blow it up and put an xe in it???? if i was going to do that i could have spent that small fortune on a crap merit and put the xe in outa my ashtray plus throttle boddies and nos and whatever i wanted.
