right, at the mo we have a 5 door tds as our runaround. it has electric windows which im hoping to put into my van when we have finished with it. how easy is this? it also has a rev counter which i dont have. is this easy to transplant? cheers, chris.

rev counter should work just by swapping clocks did in my last two anyway

windows aint that hard either if it has the black dash you would be as wel put that in only takes few hours swap over

van already has black dash, but has no rev counter. will the wiring already be there then? cheers.

the wiring for the rev counter should already be there, although theres a chance it may not, cant remember if the oil burners had slightly different looms.

as for the windows, they should fit in the doors, vans have 5dr sized doors so should be ok, you'll need to check if the van has the wiring to support leccy windows though, do this buy disconnecting the round black plug between the door and car body, on the car body side, count how many pins there are in the connector, a small mirror may help.

doubt the wiring plug will be the same but it aint hard dont coverted quite a few diff vauxs now plus its a van and to my noledge the mk3 van never had leccy windows
