me mate said go for it as will help the car as im after a 4 branch at mo but had no luck im sorry to say!!!

my mate has his 2.0 sport de-catted an I dont think its helped its performance, although it is home made so mabey thats why. the big bonus is the car dont stink when he overtakes me

it will help abit, reducing back pressure, home made or not, long as its not made from tiny diameter pipe and fairly unrestrictive. should notice abit more power higher up the rev range.

you could always make your own out of an old bit of exhaust, it's only a piece of pipe after all. that's what i'm planning to do after the mot.

Very easy.

Try dropping the CAT a few times and then watch it start to drop out the exit holes. CATS are fragile little things, the honeycomb stuff inside is VERY delicate.
