Hi lads, just been looking around! i want some new cams for my x20xev, my car has free flowing exhaust, decat, and been remapped. revs to 8000rpm which cams will suit my car the best?

Vauxhall EcoTech 1.8, 2.0, 2.2 & 16-Valve - Fast Road - Hydraulic - 256° (per pair) £165.00 £345.00

Vauxhall EcoTech 1.8, 2.0, 2.2 & 16-Valve - Fast Road/Competition - Hydraulic - 276° (per pair) £175.00 £345.00

Vauxhall EcoTech 1.8, 2.0, 2.2 & 16-Valve - Rally/Sprint/Race - Hydraulic - 288° (per pair) N/A £345.00

Vauxhall EcoTech 1.8, 2.0, 2.2 & 16-Valve - Ground to Solid Lifter Profile - 284°, 296° & 304° with Solid Lifter convertors and shim kit (per pair)
 
get a set of qed, q405h cams not sure on the specs of these as its been a long time now since i modded my ecotec..

these dont require soild lifters or pocket pistons to work so should suit you very nicely
 
qed can re-profile your cams think it cost about 190 + vat to do these and yes i had a 1.8 but took it out to just over 2.0ltr not quiet a 2.1...

yes with cams it helps tp have verniers to dial the cams in.. i also had qed verniers but piper do a good set
 
if anyones interested i've got my old cylinder head still taken from a x20xev had this acid dipped,pressure tested, painted, valves lapped back in,valves polished,new valve stem seals, light polish and port job as i was using nitrous as well..

basically a full rebuild of the top end.

will take £100 for it but will need to be picked up
