Hi All,
Am I right in thinking the best way to bleed the system once I have re-filled my car with 50/50 antifreeze and water mix is: -
1) Remove temperature sensor on side of thermostat housing.
2) Start to fill expansion tank with coolant mix.
3) Watch for coolant to come out of temperature sensor hole and then refit sensor.
4) Continue to top up expansion tank until at KALT level.
5) Start engine and wait for radiator fan to kick in when it has reached running temperature, checking level of coolant in expansion tank. Then turn internal fan to max and max heat, checking level again, and top up again if necessary.
Thanks,
James
