You'll find that it's probably the resistor has corroded and melted, had the same in my old one and it set light to the pollen filter. If you go under the bonnet, pull the rear seal and remove the black plastic under the windscreen you'll find the pollen filter, unclip that and the resistor...

I've done much the same on my intake hose on my v6 (albeit it's still in a Vectra), I'm just too tight to pay Roose prices until they come up second hand in yellow to match my plenum hoses I'm going to fit.

Deffo throw a cone on it, sounds good on a standard engine must be a good howl through that inlet

They will fit, the only difference will or shoukd be the hole for the side repeater, which can be filed out. :)

It will have a chip in the key on an N reg mate. Transponder around the ignition barrel.

They will bolt straight on to your struts, good upgrade to have :)

Those power sounders are a nightmare, first job on all my Vectra B was to find it, take it out and plop it in water. They don't always sound before they catch fire, unless they start randomly doing it while driving through town at 2am with your horn blaring for no obvious reason :D

Just new lines, rear cylinders, shoes and drums cleaned and adjusted and a good bleed. They weren't bad before before, but they're definetly better now, and less pedal travel. Must have been a bit of air in the system or something.

Stuck the wheels on today, being ET40 (standard is ET49) they fill the arches a bit more, I really like these. Will save for a proper refurb now the same colour. It's back at the garage, but only so I could drop him a drink for staying late to get it done, didn't ask or expect him to but he...
