i stand corrected,im only telling you guys the probs ive had,lowered 60mm and could keep it in bottom arms or track rod ends but i did have 215/35/17 tires on it.Very Harsh!!

The petrol prices have gone up again,maybe you didnt buy as much.lol Probably a leak from the return pipe if the car is still running fine,not too hard to check,use your nose

there is such a thing as going too low,a nice 30mm drop is fine for an old vaux,any lower than that you will need to fit strut top bearings ,bottom arms and track rod ends every 6 months.its really not good for them!!

Aww i like my k&n sticker they give it an extra 5bhp each however i did used to have a nova and had a burberry baseball hat!! it has got a c20xe sticker too but they sent me a black one for my black car DOH! they will be coming off after the re-spray tho.

Does anyone else have problems with front wheel bearings? cant seem to keep mine for any longer than 6 months! on the up side got a free starter motor last night. Todays jobs, Fit sarter,put bulb in ecu light!

fitted second hand gearbox last year after my first 1 ate it racing a pesky subaru! its now getting really noisey so anyone sellin a cheap f20 box give me a shout,does the f28 go straight in, wouldnt mind havin a 6 speeder.

Once the arches are done(and gearbox!) prob gonna chuck back seats away and get a nice cage in there, just fitted full stainless and lightened fly wheel and ebc grooved discs n pads,need to wait a while now till my wallet recovers!!

could be a couple of things there.the earth and ignition main feed switch(ignition barrel) is bad for feckking up,easy way to check is with engine running,remove steering surround and feel back of plug,(on back of barrel)if its warm there is a bad connection there,can cause lots of funny dash...

im slowly getting there tried trick with test lamp ,doesnt work,will take clocks out tomorow and keep you guys posted,this is just one small problem i hav uncoverd since i bought it.the fuel tank had been fibreglassed,the gearbox blew up,head gasket went,timing belt went and took 8 valves...

a mate said you can do it using a test lamp into the ecu plug in fuse box, bassically putting it where you put the paper clip in to read flashes,it just flashes the testlamp instead of bulb

yeh i know,its a pain taking the clocks out.bought the car in bad shape .have been putting it right since i got it.im a truck mechanic so ecu and electronics baffle me!!

can i use a test light to check ecu flashes by bridging the top pins on ecu plug in fuse box,my ecu bulb was removed by previos owner.any help would be great.cheers

isnt the 2.0 litre 8valve(130bhp) less powerful than the ecotec(135bhp).had a nova with 130 in it,what a laugh.it still said sting on the back!!
