What Tyre Size?

Can anyone tell me the correct tyre size for 15'' alloys on a mk3 astra please?

The one's on my girlfriends astra look too big to me, but I might be wrong.

195/55 R15 for 5.5 inch width, or 205/50 R15 for 6inch width.

you can also fit a 195-50-15 or a 195-45-15,, fit either to 5.5 or 6" rim
