Don't think I've ever seen a thread on here for smoothing handles, but I'm sure someone will be able to talk you through it or point you in the direction of somewhere that does have a guide etc

Don't have a guide but if your smoothing the door handles out you had 1 better have a good mot tester as its technically illegal (as noone can gain entry to the car in the event of an accident in reference to the front handles) but 2 you would need to really remove the handles and weld a plate covering the hole before grinding down the welds filling and painting.

you could always change them for vectra colour coded ones if thats what you mean mate+ by doing this you DE-lock the passengers side which is a bonus
